So I am back in Tulsa, Oklahoma after six wonderful days in Austin, Texas.
My life has been changing since I graduated college May of last year, but I seem to have remained in the same place as I was back then during the transition period that my internship was suppose to be.
My second night in Austin revealed to me that I was no longer a college student and would never be a college student, even if I do get the chance to go to graduate school and such. It is time for me to come to terms that I am becoming an adult and am leaving behind the freedom and joy of being a young person without many responsibilities.
For that reason, I thought it would be easier to keep everyone up to date with my new life as an adult through a blog instead of having to do millions of phone calls and e-mails.
Before I embark into this new adventure, I thought it would be healing for me to share my memories, specifically the most significant and impactful ones. I have many friends that will remain as part of my life as a college student, yet there are those that I hope and pray to keep throughout my adult life.
First of all, five years of college, though they were an amazing experience, may possibly not have been enough to prepare me. Then again, if it was up to me, I'd stay in college for the rest of my life. Five years in college, though, were enough to completely impact my life and change me as a person.
